Woodlanders Forest School offers truly unique birthday parties for children of all ages in the beautiful setting of Shining Cliff Wood. Our birthday parties are the perfect way to celebrate your child's special day and are popular with children of all ages.

Choose from a range of activities such as woodland crafts, tool use to make sawn disks creating pendants or using hammers for leaf printing, bushcraft skills such as fire lighting and den building, rope swings and hammocks, mud kitchen, potion making, treasure hunts and much more.  We tailor your party to your child's interests and feel that it's important for your child to play a part in the planning process.  Included in the price is an informal chat to find out about their interests and what they would like to do.

We also provide tea and coffee for the grown ups and a snack for the children. This could be cooked on the fire such as marshmallows or fruit kebabs.  For an additional charge we can provide a birthday cake, buffet and cook sausages on the fire.

Prices start at £175 for 2 hours.  We can take a maximum of 16 children of all ages which enables us to teach fire and tool skills and keep the wild feel to the woodland.

- 2 hour birthday party for 16 children

- all materials and equipment

- hot drinks and a snack

- an informal chat to include your child in the planning

- expertise of a Forest School leader and an assistant

- each child will have the opportunity to make something to take away with them
